Recommended as an entry point to a favorite electronics channel, valued for deep knowledge and no showy bravado.

Mike of mikeselectricstuff shows his heavily modified old BBC Micro system in a 28-minute tour of 8-bit hardware archaeology.

“Recommended - this guy knows his stuff, and unlike certain other youtube channels in this genre there is no annoying bravado.” (HN, 2017)

If you can stand the video format, this one is unusually rewarding for being a youtube channel: [link] I started with this one: [this video] "My old BBC Micro system" ... which kind of established his credibilities in my mind, and then I just kept going, devouring his entire channel. Recommended - this guy knows his stuff, and unlike certain other youtube channels in this genre there is no annoying bravado.

Mikes Electric Stuff is one of my absolute favourite channels on YouTube. Highly recommend. A couple of classics: Heavily modified BBC Micro: [this video] Design of LED sculpture with some interesting commentary: [link]

I dig the guy much better than David Jones ( EEVBlog ). Here is Mike's BBC micro : [this video] Great stuff.
Mike's BBC Micro build, preferred over EEVBlog
