HN cites it as a process example of how such AI-generated videos are made, including on a phone.
A step-by-step tutorial on making a Harry Potter by Balenciaga style AI video, using tools such as ChatGPT, Midjourney and Eleven Labs for script, images and voices.
“Some time after it came a "making of" video which outlined how they used ChatGPT to prompt Midjourney to create the images” (HN, 2025)
Without even leaving the phone: > "I'm more comfortable doing this on my phone" [this video] was kind of blown away by that thought, having had the pleasure of using Premiere-type suites on a desktop computer just to edit a simple timelapse
Shows making AI Harry Potter Balenciaga video entirely on a phone
Patrick here. Yeah there's a lot of AI video out there. There are also plenty that are more story-driven better ones nowadays. [link] None of these are end-to-end automated though. Even for a video without a story like the Harry Potter Balenciaga style ones, there's a lot of manual cherry-picking and manual editing going on. Here's a process example for that type of content that looks quite automateable [this video] - but both 1. No one _has_ automated this and 2. It's much more difficult than it looks because of the manual cherry-picking part, and the story, character/enivornment consistency, etc. I am really looking for another instance of "type text, get story video". I do think it's a bold claim that we're first but I haven't seen a counterexample yet.
Process example of a mostly manual AI video workflow
One of the original AI-whoah moments was that italian fashion/harry potter mashup [0]. Some time after it came a "making of" video which outlined how they used ChatGPT to prompt Midjourney to create the images [1]. To me, this established using generative systems to create prompts for other generative as an effective pattern for using such systems. 0. [link] 1. [this video]
