A short AI-generated parody video that imagines Harry Potter as a Balenciaga fashion campaign, made with Midjourney, ChatGPT and Eleven Labs voices. It became a viral meme.
“The original in this family of memes/content” (HN, 2023)
One of the original AI-whoah moments was that italian fashion/harry potter mashup [0]. Some time after it came a "making of" video which outlined how they used ChatGPT to prompt Midjourney to create the images [1]. > Isn’t it sad that the first $500b+ company from Europe is a peddler of vanity and overpriced luxury items? French top 4 are: - lvmh $496b - Loreal $256b - Hermes $232b - Dior $172b [link] #9 is EssilorLuxottica (sunglasses), and #11 is a clothing brand. If this sort of Fashion ever goes out of style does that whole country go bankrupt? I fear what the unstoppable and inevitable ascendance of Balenciaga might do to the French. [this video]
