HN mentions it with caveats: despite the author's reputation, commenters say it contains good investing and Excel material.
The first lesson of Martin Shkreli's introductory investing and finance course, running about two and a half hours. His related tutorials cover reading 10-K filings and building DCF models.
“has an excellent set of youtube tutorials on reading 10-k and 10-q forms to compile DCF valuation models” (HN, 2021)
Martin Shkreli (yes, The pharma bro) has an excellent set of youtube tutorials on reading 10-k and 10-q forms to compile DCF valuation models. His video series focuses on household tech names here's the first one in the series: [this video]

This is just a fun FYI ; This is 8 years old! (as of yesterday!!) but its pretty amazing: [this video] Its Martin Skreli (yes that one) -- but see how fast this guy is with excel... this is what I imagine when I think of excel power users... (But also, he does a lesson in DD on investing and doing calcs in Excel - so aside from awesome Excel input, there is good investing info here - recall this was the guy that bought a medical company and immediately raised the price 7,000% or some such (he then bought the Wu Tang Album whilst imprisoned)
Fast Excel skills plus due diligence and investing calculations.
Indeed, moreso pride and lack of wisdom. Perhaps a bit of martyrdom. Shkreli liked playing around with these people who literally wanted to slay him. I don't think he understood how seriously evil and petty boomers can be, and how most judges are from that generation. He took one for the team in a sense, showing how the justice system serves as the instrument of vengeance for the executive and legislative branches. He's by no means dumb [1,2] but yes, honest to the point of being blunt. Very much in the spirit of Mike Tyson who is also extremely intelligent but often portrayed as a dolt. So there's this weird playlist about Excel by Martin Shkreli of all people: [this video] It keeps popping up as he is apparently quick and knows the ins and outs. But I've never bothered to go through it as it is seven years old at this point and focused on finance. Can anybody recommend something similar but up to date with the new goodies so a fella could be competitive at this? I'm talking more keyboard shortcuts and advanced features (many of them overlap). The latest versions of Excel sort of open it up anew. puts on headband and cracks knuckles
Excel playlist by Shkreli, known for speed, but dated and finance-focused.
