Mentioned as an interesting talk when threads touch on cancer, diet and fasting research.
William Li presents anti-angiogenesis, the idea of cutting off the blood supply that feeds tumors, and argues that certain foods can help do this. It is a TED-Ed version of his TED talk.
This was very interresting [this video] esp. in combination with studies r intermittent fasts/food in general. Neven Orhel's (fiction) books are also in the line with intermittent extremes / how healthy cells can cope with them and cancer cells can not, which is well in-line with the finish saying(was something like "if sauna doesnt cure you no doctor will" - pls correct me here)
Interesting talk on cancer and diet, linked to fasting research.
Very interesting. What does this mean for low carb, high protein diets heavily promoted these days (Keto)? Reminds me of this talk on TED - William Li, Anti-Angiogenesis therapy: [this video] Does this research mean these diets and therapies are less effective than previously thought?
Talk on anti-angiogenesis therapy and eating to starve cancer.
Sorry to hear your are going through this. Here are a few I have found interesting. I am not a doctor and by no means is any of this something I am suggesting. It's just interesting content on your topic. - Prof. Thomas Seyfried - 'Cancer as a Metabolic Disease: Implications for Novel Therapies' [link] - A New Cancer Strategy [link] - The MOST Important Cancer Prevention [link] - Antiangiogenic Therapy [this video] - Sulforaphane and Its Effects on Cancer, Mortality, Aging, Brain and Behavior, Heart Disease & More [link] - Q&A with Dr. Jed Fahey on Sulforaphane, Moringa and Chemoprotection [An authoritative discussion!] [link] - [link] Also watch this site if your doctors run out of ideas. Look for newer and more targeted methods. [link] Some people that were written off by doctors had some success with prolonged fasting. Also important would be to get opinions by many doctors inside and outside of your medial group.
